How Far Can You Swim in an Hour?

This year's theme... Tropical Postal!!

Sign up with close on Sunday, Jan. 25th.

When: January 31st, 2015
Where: East Boulder Rec Center
Check in: 7:30 - Warm-Up 7:40 to 7:55
7:55 lane assignments (No Late-Comers will be accepted!)
8:00-9:00am Timed Swim (with every 10 minutes a tropical-themed "act" will performed by BAM coaches!)
What: Timed 1-hour Swim.  Swimmers will swim as far as possible in one hour. You can choose to either compete in the 1-Hour ePostal National Championship or simply complete the one hour swim for fitness.  
For those competing, 50s splits will be recorded for submission electronically for awards.  
For those not competing, 100s splits will be recorded for personal satisfaction.
Volunteers:  Volunteers will be needed to help time and record splits.  Contact coach Kirsten if you are interested in helping out.

Awards: The top 10 finishers in each age group in the individual event and the top 6 relay teams in each relay age group will receive USMS Long Distance National Championship medals. First place finishers in each individual and relay age group will also receive a USMS Long Distance Championship patch. Only one patch per event per participant will be awarded.
Note: This is a USMS-sanctioned event and all participants must be registered for 2015 with USMS (or the equivalent FINA organization for foreign swimmers) on or before the day of their swim.  To register with USMS visit: http://www.usms.org/reg/

Annual Extreme (under 29 or over 60 years of age) - $500
Annual Spouse - $500 thereafter
Annual Low Income – must qualify - $450
Quarterly - $225
Monthly - $100

Boulder Aquatic Masters (BAM) is a Masters Swim Club that is committed to offering a fun, welcoming environment for adult swimmers of all levels.
